risks and invite quotations; these brokers represent an underwriter's
'distribution'.
- Accept invitations to quote on each Risk individually offered by
a Panel broker; as a member of that Risk
Panel, underwriter quotes securely
and confidentially.
- Receive instantaneous access to up-to-date information and presentations
on each Risk, avoiding version
control errors.
- Create (and amend) Quotes on a risk from within the Platform,
attaching files which provide Terms and Conditions etc. to
supplement their quotes.
- Compete for business on a 'level playing field'; all underwriters receive
anonymous summary pricing (quote) information during the
bidding process.
- Accept single or coinsurance status at the end of the process if selected by
the broker. The non-binding, 'Pro
Forma' contract generated can
be used for policy
document creation.
- Analyse their business activity and generate customised reports using the 'Reports'
tool.
